And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. Isaiah 10:27
The anointing is an extraordinary power from Heaven given for the children of God. Even though Christians have read in the Bible several times that anointing can break the yokes but the majority of the Christians never realizes or applies the power of anointing in their life and lives in the bondages of the sin. Anointing changes lives, it transforms, it moulds, it sanctifies, and it leads one person to the will of God.
It is necessary to understand one thing that many think that anointing break yokes but it destroys a yoke, that’s what the Word of God says. ‘Break’ means to separate, fracture or divide into pieces. What is broken can be coupled together again, but destroy means to demolish beyond repair or completely vanishing so that it can’t get back to the older state. A yoke is a wooden instrument placed on cattle to draw a cart or to plough the field. It is a heavy burden placed on someone without his consent and which he has no control over. By the sin of Adam, we have become a slave to the devil. Still, we no more need to be a sinner or a captive to the bondage of sin, as Jesus has shed His precious blood for us and His anointing will destroy every bondage and captive of the sin which was ruling over our body. God has set us free. Devil has no more power over us.
When you read Mark 5:15, it says “And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.” The Demon possessed man had no clue about his life, and satan had destroyed his life completely. He lost his identity; he was isolated; he was no more behaving like a normal man; he had no clothes. It was like he lost everything in his life. One thing we need to remember is, no situation is too late until Jesus steps into it. There is nothing Jesus can’t bring back. It broke all the yokes of that man entirely, and he was set free. Scriptures say “[Jesus] said to him, ‘Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how He had mercy on you.’ And he went away and began to proclaim in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him, and everyone marveled” Mark 5:18-20. Everyone marvels at you when the power of God destroys your yokes. When the power of God struck in your life, you will never like before. Everything changes for sure.
