“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11 ESV)
As a woman, we have lots of plans in our life. Plans about our marriage, future, carrier, finances and much more. Remember one thing: not all plans are approved by God or by the will of God. When I studied sixth grade, I had plans of which college I want to study; I knew which carrier to follow on. I know what age I need to get married and whom to marry. I had every single sort of plans in my head until real life happened- God had something different in my life, and His plans are always the best which I had never dreamt off.
The Lord taught us through the Lord’s Prayer “Thy will be done in earth, As it is in heaven.”. This prayer is so powerful. God has a significant plan for us, our future and everything we wanted in our life, and it is our responsibility to surrender ourselves to the Lord and ask His will to happen in our life.
It is vital to ask His direction and plan in our life because He is the author and finisher of all things. He knows everything right from the beginning to the end. We see only the present stuff happening in our lives, and we plan accordingly. He knows the ending. That is why we need to seek God’s plan in our life.
Even though if you could have lost God’s plan in our life, relying on our own understanding and strength. If we surrender ourselves to the plans of God. He can still penetrate into the situation and bring us back into the track. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.
When God redirects your life, hold on to His arms firmly. He will never leave you nor forsake you, as he has carved you in his palms. Just surrender yourself entirely to his will. God only wants the best for you.
To reach the plans of the God which He has kept for you, you need to be prayerful and faithful in the presence of God. God watches over us and our ways before handing over His plans. John 4 tells us the story that Jesus reaching to the Samaritan woman at the well and revealed that He was the Messiah and discussed with her topics such as eternal life and the nature of true worship. Trust in the Lord and believe that He has more significant plans in your life. Your life is never a waste. You are born with a purpose, and He gives His grace to fulfil His plans in our life.
