God’s Invitation to Forgiveness
Scripture declares that no one is beyond redemption when they approach God through Jesus Christ. Our deepest shame meets His deepest mercy at the cross.
The Universal Need for Forgiveness
- All have sinned (Romans 3:23)
- All deserve eternal separation (Romans 6:23)
- No one can earn forgiveness (Ephesians 2:8-9)
God’s Perfect Solution
- Christ’s sacrifice covers all sin (1 John 2:2)
- Jesus took our punishment (2 Corinthians 5:21)
- Resurrection proves forgiveness’s power (1 Corinthians 15:20-22)
How to Receive Forgiveness
- Acknowledge your sin (1 John 1:9)
- Believe in Christ’s finished work (John 3:16)
- Receive His gift by faith (Romans 10:9-10)
A Prayer for Forgiveness
“Heavenly Father, I confess my sins before You. I believe Jesus died for my sins and rose again. I receive Your forgiveness and surrender my life to You. Thank You for cleansing me and making me new. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
